The Department of Labour Relations has sent compliance notice to Employers across Cyprus regarding the Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions Law.

All employers are requested to submit copies of the written statement of employment terms for every employee in their organisation. Each document must clearly show confirmation of receipt by the employee concerned.

According to the law, employers must provide employees with written information outlining the essential terms of their employment relationship. This can be delivered either in hard copy or electronically. Where electronic format is used, the information must be accessible, storable, and printable by the employee.

📢  Key deadlines to note:

  • Essential employment terms must be provided within 7 days of the employee’s start date
  • Additional employment terms must be provided within 1 month of the start date
